David Boots

Director of Member Services - Western Region

David comes to the team as Director of Member Relations–Western Region, and has been a Servant Solutions member since 1988, when it was known as The Board of Pensions.  He brings his experience and knowledge of 35 years of vocational church ministry, having served three large congregations of the Church of God full time as Executive Pastor, overseeing operations, administration and finance.  He has also served those congregations at times as Worship Pastor.

“I enjoy meeting fellow pastors, administrators and church leaders,” David enthusiastically shares.  “Because of my long-term relationship with Servant Solutions, I am now in a position to be able to “change lanes” and be an encouragement to others in helping to prepare financially for a great season of retirement.”

A native of Western Pennsylvania, he grew up in the church, and met and married Michelle there in 1984.  Having recently retired from his full-time position as Executive Pastor of Salem Church of God in Dayton Ohio, David and Michelle now make their home on the Oregon Coast.

Most recently David has also served on the Board of Trustees of our organization.  He is an avid musician and amateur astronomer; one would find him either out under the stars or in his home recording studio, depending on the Oregon weather.
